Definition of uffda

uffda

  • "WOW!" Pronounced OOF-dah. I thought that this was Norwegian in origin, but I can't find it in any Scandinavian dictionary. It is very commonly used all over North Dakota, and I think, Minnesota.
Uffda! Look at that BABE!, or day, or moron, or car, or great time, etc.
